Gloriously creepy!  Thanks for creating this and bringing more stop motion spookiness into the world <3

Thank you!

I've passed it!

Bojler eladó! Bocsi, muszáj volt :D Nagyon tetszett, rövid, de sok mindent a képzeletre bíz, és ettől olyan hatásos. Bírom, amikor a kevésbé ismert folklórból készülnek ilyen játékok. Amikor megfejtettem a rovásírást, akkor jöttem rá, hogy jé, én ismerem ezt a kifejezést. :)

koszi!!

Eitaaaaaaaaa

Muy fueda mi hermano

Great game!

Not to be a broken record but I agree with the other comments here, this game was awesome and I would love to be able to examine a few more statues! The music fits the vibe perfectly, extremely ominous. Really good work making this game, I hope you continue to do more!

Thanks!!

banger!

Fun little experience! Does make me wish I could read to offer up a better video, but this is all I got. Cut out about three minutes of me staring blankly at runes.

Nicee, simpel tapi serem juga sih apalagi jadinya tau kenapa cairan hitamnya keluar.

dude you amazing ! loved the game  and mecanics esp searching from books using key words (wish there was more variety  i  study ancient artifacts for personal project and wish there were some info about faces\faceless figures  difrence  in game ( but i guess it was obvious that it was evil deity since good deities or charms are usually faceless) but it's my own usless yaping ) i engoyed the game greatly and i hope to see more of it and your other future project, good luck on your jorney!

really cool concept, wish it was longer thought; kinda takes away from the theme

Yeah, it'd be amazing if we had different artifects to study with different stories and more tools to work with

i liked the feet 10/10

thats crazy💀💀

The Children of Clay: The game that proves you can take clay out of the earth, but you can't take the 'URDUNG' out of the clay—and yes, I still don't know what URDUNG is, but it's definitely haunting my dreams now.

Loved the whole aesthetic of the game! There's something about the clay stop-motion animation when it goes horror it's on another level.. I'm thinking of that Mark Twain animation from YouTube 😰

Also amazing job on the music! It's like I was trying to solve the mystery of an SCP entity.

I really hope you can continue this project and go ham with multiple combinations and book entries.

Thank You! ❤️

This game was really scary and spooky

painfully short to the point it greatly hurts the experience, mainly because what's there is incredible. add more to this and this will be gold

There is too little game content, this should become a great game with richer content

Please, I want a whole game of this!

Really Good and Short experience. Would be even cool to see a fleshed out experience.

I really liked the mechanics and sound design, i just wish it was longer (like everyone else). Very good and interesting!

Man I wish It was just a little longer. Good game!

Played your game in my series and might I say it was really GOOD for how short it was it was truly bone chilling and amazing in all, anyways good job it's really well done and cant wait to see what else you create!

i loved it sucks that its so short

URDGUN
URDUNG

this was a very nice experience. would love to see more of this, i loved the little figurine, the lighting, and the way it melted and started dripping stuff at the end was actually really well done and creepy. the gameplay was also really fun, i loved the fact that it doesn't hold your hand and lets you figure out on your own how to use the compass and the magnifying glass and what to do with the translation. really good stuff.

Short and Moody, just as a horror game should be. The lovecraftian aspect is fun, and I wish more people would make more games in this style.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! This game was so cool. It really reminded me of classic horror games! Your game is the 1st game in my video!

I do like the idea of the game and how you progress a lot. Though I wish there was more but I understand as it's a submission to Hawktober Horrors 2024, it was nice but I didn't really get too much out of it. Definitely make more like this in the future as it is interesting!

this was a gate game you should make more like this in them  future

Gave this game a professional voice actor touch in my playthrough. Has great potential! keep it up devs!

That was truly an amazing experience! Great joob!

I really appreciate the way you progress in this game, especially with keywords in the books, but i honestly wish it had at least one more ending.

😊👍

check out my gameplay!

I love the premise, I see a lot of potential in this but as it stands now it is so short that I didn't really get anything out of it but I could see where it was going for sure. I feel like if the dev builds on this it could easily be a game ready for sale on itch.io or steam. Hopefully the dev takes this general idea to the next level, I would be happy to pay for a full game as I dearly love this type of folklore horror storytelling. I realize stop motion is incredibly time consuming so maybe the style will need to be change a bit to make a full game possible but as long as it keeps the general spirit with maybe stop motion for the action bits only it could be a really solid full game.

PS: I know this is short as it is for the Hawktober Horrors 2024 contest, but I am talking as far as future offerings go.

Thank you! I am glad people see potential in it! I really enjoyed making it, so if i can find a good way to build on this, i will do it.

Cool idea. Something can be vaguely creepy about the mini aesthetic if pushed that way, and you did so effectively. When I first began development on miniature multiverse it was an indie experiment - myst like 360 degree game with charmingly realistic miniature look, and it was the only game to use the mini aesthetic that I knew of aside from 1996's the neverhood. Now since I began work on it the idea has just *exploded* with titles from Truberbrook to Armikrog to Lumino City to Harold Halibut. I still see mine as the only free look 360 node based one but realistically it is only a matter of time before someone beats me to release on that as well. Now you are going mini horror and that is another fantastic branch of the handcrafted game concept. I need to keep moving on game dev, the technical side is kicking me in the butt at times as my programming skill is barely adequate. Between that and the rotation between a bunch of tasks, none of my projects move forward to release as fast as I would like. But hopefully soon at least one or two of my games will be out there and fully playable. It isn't a small feat, making a game. you did it even if short so congrats.
